Profit from Experience (PFE) aims to empower mature aged people to manage the direction of their own careers.

Delivered by the State Government funded Employment Directions Network Career Centres, Profit from Experience can assist you with:

• Career Guidance and action planning
• Identification and access to work experience
• Improving skills to obtain career and employment goals
• Access to training opportunities
• Recognition of current competencies

Who is Eligible?

Whether you are employed or unemployed, anyone aged 40 plus (35 plus for Indigenous clients) can access career guidance through Profit from Experience. Remember, maturity is an asset and employers can benefit from your experience.

However, sometimes you may need to obtain new skills or have existing skills recognised in order to secure the work you want.

Through the Profit from Experience program you may also be eligible for financial assistance for training to meet your career goals.
